The general store was first set up in 1874 by my great-great grandfather T.J Finn. It was run as a general store and until the mid 1970's and now has been lovingly restored by Geoff and Jacqui Yeo.

Finns Store offers coffee using Bills Beans(Orange) teas (T2) and other condiments. There is also antique furniture as well as other bric-a-brac.

Finns Store is open Wed- Mon 10am - 4pm

Melissa Barber Galleries will also be part of Finns Store. Melissa's work embodies the sublime, the sensual and the metaphysical. That is how her work has been described with its tactile three dimensional quality and play of negative space and detail. Barber's artistic reputation commenced as a portrait artist and followed with the opening of her gallery in Canowindra, New South Wales showcasing solely her work which it did for seven years. The unusual floating Poppies and Roses series quickly came to the attention of the Canberra and Orange regions accompnied by invitations to exhibit overseas. She now has works in collections in England, Ireland, the United States, France, New Zealand, China and Malaysia.

The Quarry

Just 5km south of Cowra on the Boorowa Road to Canberra, The Quarry shows the finest wines from the Cowra Region and introduces you to many new labels now coming on line and which have restricted commercial access.
