Welcome to Swinging Bridge

The past ten years have been a wild ride for Swinging Bridge’s Tom and Georgie Ward.

Having established Swinging Bridge Wines with their extended family in 1995, Tom and Georgie took over the business in 2008.

Since then, they have broadened their wines to include chardonnay, sauvignon blanc and pinot noir from the cool climate of Orange in NSW. These wines now complement the shiraz from the original Swinging Bridge home block.

Swinging Bridge is now one of the region’s leading winegrowers, with its cellar door located in the heart of Orange, in the historic Union Bank building.

Swinging Bridge Wines

Tom and Georgie Ward and their family established Swinging Bridge in 1995 with an initial planting of Shiraz and Chardonnay. The vineyard was named after the historic wooden pedestrian bridge located at the bottom of the vineyard that traverses the Belubula River.
